Do people in your town steer clear of you?? Do you have any friends?

Alethea stared off into the distance. Both hands set on her book-holding lap as she quietly took a few moments.

“..People tend to not talk to me much, and if they do, it..isn’t the friendliest of reasons that lead them.” The young woman explains, eyes closed as she takes in a batch of air through her nostrils.

“I don’t have acquantances. There’s no need for that sort of commitment. It can be…” Alethea takes a moment, pursing her lips as she searches for the correct words, “..Challenging for people to understand why I do what I do.” 

Although the psychologist is quite intelligent and has the know-how, she isn’t the most social, and finds it a little off putting conversing with others. Some would mistake her as a shut in! It was depressing, yet, she held comfort of such a way she leads her life.

Quietly, the young woman laces a strand of hair back and gets back to reading.

So is your father part of the skies? What's your story?

“Father’s definitely a part of the stars.” Alethea speaks fondly, pushing her book closed after settling her bookmark between the frail pages. 

“He studied them with such passion, with a love of them. It’d be impossible for him not to.” Quietly, the red head drags her vision over to the dark skies outside of her window, humming lowly. After a few moments, she gestures to the Observatory entrance atop a small set of stairs, 

“I like to see him quite often. The constellations he makes amaze me. Although, that’s all I’d like to talk about for now.”

It was quite a drafty day, tides of the airpolluting clouds swirling into an angry storm in the town Alethea resides. It had been forecast for ruthless amounts of whipping winds and swift rain to harmonize into such a destructive way. Some would call it the storm of the year. // Rise and Shine

Everything was just going so wrong today. It was a relitavely unfortunate series of events for the young woman with no end it seemed. 

Patients of hers hadn’t turned up for her appointment’s set times, muddling up her paper work and notes in the process. To which assuming she had free time she whisked herself away to the nearest market to pick up groceries, to be mocked and shamed with silent glares, leaving her quite deeply sullen. She never let it obvious that something was awry, lest she bring up even more suspicion than she currently held. Mund’s favourite blouse (They’re all the same, yet, she hold a particular dear) Was stained from a little incident regarding an ink holder she use for note taking in sessions, resulting in booking another batch order of supplies in, with money she ran low on.

Everything was just going so wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. This wouldn’t sit here, this wouldn’t fit there, nothing was going her way. There had been times where she was willing to pack up and search for a land to settle down, but that would take energy, research, and effort. One of which she hadn’t in her at this moment.

Taking a fistful of her hair and pushing her back against he door, she shut it quite forcefully, knocking her head back against with a low groan. God, this wasn’t her day.
